Making Stuff
Motorsport Engineering is a privateer motorsport team focussed on pushing the limits of what’s sensible in the design and build of race cars. It’s what I do with my weekends, designing, machining, assembling and occasionally blowing things up. The Alfa build was originally something to keep my engineering mind ticking, now I’m no longer on the tools at work. With a lot of interest on the build, I’ve been asked to share more details, resources, parts and models with other people pushing the limits of engineering both in home builds like mine, and in professional factory teams. This site offers some of the components, products and designs that I have been asked for, as well as the occasional spare part and stock component that needs shifting out of my garage. All proceeds go towards the build and the focus of this project is in no way commercial. It’s simply to work towards designing race cars that are categorically silly.
